Not receiving Email Notifications

I have notifications setup but I have yet to receive an email.  I look
in the nagios.log file and see the following lines.

 

1113237001 HOST NOTIFICATION:
tim;********;DOWN;host-notify-by-email:/bin/ping -n -U -c 1 128.100.2.46

1113237001 HOST NOTIFICATION:
nagios;********;DOWN;host-notify-by-email:/bin/ping -n -U -c 1
128.100.2.46

 

 

I can take the command syntax from the misccomands.cfg file and send a
mail from command line without any problems.  Anybody have any ideas on
how I can troubleshoot this or something I can chance.
