Hi Carole,

what does check_nrpe say when you run it from the command line ?

Does nrpe run as a daemon or as a service on the HP-UX server ?

If have nrpe 2.0 running as a daemon on hp-ux 11i and everything is ok, but
when I run it as a service, check_nrpe on the nagios server returns the
following message :

"CHECK_NRPE: Response packet had invalid CRC32."

When your system is restarting, as which user is the nrpe started ?
Maybe the user as which nrpe runs doesn't have the right access rights to
execute your scripts ?

Frederik
