Debugging check_commands

I've got some perl scripts that I've written that I'm in the process of 
implementing into my Nagios setup.  The problem that I have is that I keep 
getting a '(No output!)' error from Nagios when it runs the command.  
However, when I execute the command from the command-line as the nagios 
user I get the proper results including the proper exit code.

Is there a way to further debug Nagios as it's executing these scripts?  
Since it's showing the no output I assume it's not even getting my text 
info output (although from the command-line it's fine).  Any pointers 
would be much appreciated.  Thanks.
