Multiple interfaces

Hi,

Reading the faq about hosts with multiple interfaces i tried to do it as
it said, declaring a host as usual and giving all addresses separed with
a ","
host_address 192.168.10.2,192
.168.0.2,82.230.x.x

well it doesn't work at all for services like check_ping and give error
output about a wrong hostaddress.
My guess is to check_ping and load (net-use) of those three interfaces.
I could do a special service that would check each of those interfaces
but for those of you who have thousand machines to monitor i presume
that you wuldn't do that way, so do you know the better way to check
multiple interfaces for the same host ?

Thanks for reading.
