Nagios 1.2 - Status Log warning

Just installed a test system EXECTLY the same as my current live setup but 
without storing stuff within MySQL. I do not get the log warning so it seems 
that when i put state data into MySQL and then use the check_nagios plugin i 
get bad data.

So i guess i try and fix the plugin or don't use MySQL -
