Nagios 1.2 - Status Log warning

Hi

Ok i have not sorted it - I still get a slew of these...

[1100285100] SERVICE ALERT: hostname;Nagios;WARNING;SOFT;1;Nagios problem: 
located 2 processes, status log updated 593 seconds ago
[1100285160] SERVICE ALERT: hostname;Nagios;OK;SOFT;2;Nagios ok: located 2 
processes, status log updated 53 seconds ago

repeated in the nagios log - Whish status update interval of nagios.cfg are 
you referring to? I see a few called things like..

RETENTION DATA UPDATE INTERVAL
AGGREGATED STATUS UPDATES
