Viewing service detail of just one service?

Hi all:

I am trying to figure out how to get a service detail type
display for only one service. I like to keep an eye on the ntp
network, and I want a display of just the NTP service on all
the boxes that have the ntp service.

I can get a display of all the services on all the boxes that run NTP,
but that is more info than I want to sort through.

This is with nagios 1.1. I would be happy for even a manual URL that I
need to type in.

Do I have to wait for nagios 2.x and service groups?
