Correct. However, if you set service notification to 24X7, and your
contact notification to normal working hours, you will see the same
thing.
If you add a second contact to this service, and that person's contact
notification is set to 'off-hours', then YOU will be notified while at
work, and THEY will be notified the rest of the time.

Kind of a stupid question, but why is there Host and Service
notification timeperiods on a Contact when the actual service determines
when notifications go out.

So if I have my Contact info setup with 24x7 on both, and I setup the
service to notify only during normal working hours, I shouldn't be
notified outside normal work hours, right?
