Nagios installation

Hello,

 

I am new to Nagios. I have read the installation docs thoroughly but perhaps
I am over looking something here. I have installed Nagios version 1.2 and
the plugins but I do not see a /usr/local/nagios/etc directory. The
installation left the /etc directory out.

 

How do I correct this? I tried a re-install twice now and no luck.
