Use the check_radius plugin that is distributed with the standard
plugins. You must have the radius client libs installed before compiling
the plugins. From the REQUIREMENTS file --

check_radius:
        - Requires the radiusclient library available from
http://www.cityline.net/~lf/radius/
        RPM (rpmfind): radiusclient-0.3.1-1, radiusclient-devel-0.3.1-1
