I work a little with the developer of Sentinix.  He has made no major
changes to Nagios.  I use it at work and put a 2.0alpha1 snapshot in
with nothing more than a ./configure, make and make install.  IF you go
the 2.0 route, there is a minor change in two config files that will
need to be done before it will start.  Or atleast it did for me.
