One Host Notification instead of every service possible?

Hi there,

i use nagios 1.1 and have a problem with configuration. 

In Example i have one host with 8 services. When the complete host get's
down, i.E. kernel panic, i get 16 Notifications for every service. 8
Problems and 8 Recoverys.

It's possible to get one Mail like "Host XYZ has Problems. Please take a
look at the Nagios Web Interface" or "On Host XYZ are more than 2
problems."?

Background, i send a email notification to a mobile phone and get this
via sms. It's not cheap! ;-)
