Question about service definition...

I don't believe so.  I took it as separate line for host_name and
hostgroup_name

So if I have this correct then:

define service {
  service_description    some_service_check
  use                          generic-service
  register                   1
  host_name                 host1,hostgroup_name1,host2,hostgroup_name2
  ...
}

docs/xodtemplate.html#service shows the host_name directive as a
required field and that host_name is the short name for the host.  I
tried the above and had no success.  Can someone point to documentation
of how, if possible, on how to add a hostgroup to a service definition? 
Maybe even a >>> real <<< quick example as sown above.
