Ah, OK.  My boss noticed all the processes nagios forks the other day
and asked me if something was wrong, which was why that interpretation
came to mind.

I thought it was a bit of derogatory labelling of BB forking off shell
scripts.  Until you mentioned it, I didn't know that BB had forked.

One project fork is enough to indicate dissatisfaction with the
project lead.  Which is not surprising since BB doesn't seem to have
improved much in the past couple of years.
