use of nagios-stat and nagios statd

Hi all,

I'm sorry to ask you that but I'd like to know how to use nagios-stat
and nagios-statd to check the disk use on remote hosts. My interrogation
is especially on the where to run the different process and how to
configure it to work well

The man appears not enough to me to understand this.
