You can also send a passive check result upon bootup in the rc scripts..

Once 2.0 comes out and you can have passive host checks, it'll be nicer,
but for now, you can just setup a service "reboot", "uptime"..whatever,
And use ncsa send a CRITICAL passive check result upon bootup.
