Downtime Question

I'm sure this has been asked before... but...
 
If I schedule downtime for a host, will it consider all of that host's
services to be in downtime, too?
 
i.e. I have a host with 15 services.  If I'm taking that host down for a
while, do I need to schedule downtime individually for the host and each
service, or just the host?
 
I don't want services to be sending notifications while the host is in
downtime.
