Service Event Question

I'm monitoring some Crystal Enterprise services on one of my hosts and
the Nagios Event Log has hundreds of events with the following:

[01-09-2004 03:58:56] Warning: The results of service 'Crystal Page
Server' on host 'server1' are stale by 45 seconds (threshold=315
seconds). I'm forcing an immediate check of the service.

What does this mean?
