Scheduled downtime and event handlers.

Hi all,
 
I have search through the list for this question and i find it already asked, but i didn't find any answer.
So i try once again:
 
With Nagios 1.1, i have set up event handlers on services which monitor critical application processes (restart if too few process, kill and restart if too many), and i would like to find an easy way to deactivate event handlers during scheduled downtime.
