Cool, that's with 2 instances of Nagios installed on a machine. Would it be
possible with only one instance installed? I am currently running 1.1. so
what I want to do is start services like this

/usr/sbin/nagios -c /etc/nagios1/nagios.cfg
/usr/sbin/nagios -c /etc/nagios2/nagios.cfg

Hello,

I just did it. I have a nagios 1.0 installed and wanted to test nagios
1.2.
I just had a new alias in httpd.conf. ( I have 2 cgi/share directories).

Also I use a distributed topology, so I changed the port numbers used
by nrpe and nsca.

Regards,tom.

Would it be possible to run 2 instances of nagios on one box?

How would that be done? What changes whould I have to make to the
httpd.conf file (would I need 2 cgi- and share directories?)

Regards
Christiaan
