Disable notifications does not work !

Hi all.

I have 130 hosts and 400 services monitored with nagios.

Sometime happen that I need to disable the notifications for a set of host
and its services.
I thought to put notifications_enable options equal to 0 for each entity,
but "sometimes" it does not work!

The problem happen more frequently when I "try" to enable notifications
again (notifications_enable 1).

Believe, I had not any drink today ! :-)
