Use of Nagmin and nagios tables

Hi,

Does someone use nagmin to configure nagios?

I use nagios v1.2 et nagmin v2.1.0 on solaris 8.
I have modified Service table to add a new service, then i click on 
Reload button. A this moment, nagios don't take into account those 
modifications.
If i click on Activate button, then nagios takes them into account.

How can i indicate to nagios to read in the NagMin database and not in 
the configuration files?

I have got another problem with notifications. Since NagMin runs, i 
don't receive mail alerts. Why?
