Not logging new hosts/services

Nagios will not log anything for a host or service until it changes
state. If your hosts have always been up, you should select Assume
Initial States = yes and First Assumed State = UP/OK when running your
reports. You can have Nagios log initial states on restart with the
log_initial_states=1 option in nagios.cfg and that will help but only if
your report period contains a restart and/or your backtracked archives
includes a log archive that contains a restart.
