Getting UNKNOWN status on an HP-UX 10.20 machine

I don't use NRPE myself, but I guess it could be a couple of things.  Did
the plugins work locally after the disk install?  Does NRPE have a debug
mode?  If so, did that complain about anything?

I guess I would just blame it on sunspots, and go on with my day.  :)
