"Error: Service Status Not Found!"

You may have more than one instance of Nagios running. Do this:

1) Issue the command to gracefully stop Nagios. On my Red Hat
7.3 system, it's simply "service nagios stop"

2) Check for remaining Nagios processes. Give them 10-15 seconds
to settle down.

3) If there are any processes left over at this point, kill them.

4) Make sure there are no Nagios processes remaining.

5) Gracefully start Nagios again, eg, "service nagios start"

You should be fine now. (Yes, this is in the FAQ.)
