check_http times out eventhough website is accessible

Strange thing I am having today that may be related. I use nagios to
monitor about 20 servers. This morning at exactly 4:55, I lost http
connectivity to 3 of them. I also can't use lynx to get to them either.
According to a packet capture, instead of getting the http back from the
servers, i get an HTTP continuation message.

Not sure if this is related, but just a thought.
