check_ping not working

everything is working fine but the check_ping command the is what I get....

./check_ping -H 216.110.76.36 -w 3000.0,80% -c 5000.0,100% -p 1
You've got a big problem buddy! You need more args!!!

this is executed from the /usr/local/libexec directory on freebsd 4.8 nagios 
version is 1.1
