database schema question

Hi Folks,

Just a quick question regarding the database schema.  There
are a number of tables which do not have primary keys defined, specifically:

hostextinfo
hostretention 
hoststatus
programretention
programstatus
serviceextinfo
serviceretention
servicestatus

Is their any reason why these tables do not have PK's?  I am very new to nagios so please pardon my ignorance.
