The normal procedure is to download the plugins from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=29880 in your favorite format (rpm in your case it seems) then

rpm -i nagios-plugins-<version>.i386.rpm

or if it's source 

tar zxvf nagios-plugins-<version>.tar.gz
cd nagios-plugins-<version>
./configure <your favorite configure options>
make
make install
