Can we get a few more details/specifics? I had something similar happen
once, added a -u // to the end of the check command and it cleared the
issue up.

Subject: [Nagios-users] check_http problem

Hi All,

I've been running nagios fine for a couple of months now. Today, all of
a sudden, nagios reports that my web server is down when it is not. I
can telnet webserver 80 from the nagios box just fine.

If I do a check_http -H ipaddressofweb I get a Socket timeout after 10
seconds.

I also did the check_http command on another web server and it works
fine.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Joe
