Check_dns error?

Has anyone used the check_dns command with the -a flag to actually check
the address that is returned?  It seems to have an error in the check
response.  For some reason, it returns an IP address with a preceding
space.  I needed to match it to ' ip address' instead of just the IP.
It's simple enough to bypass, but it seems like it's some error in the
program, has anyone seen this?
