Can you use check_dhcp from the command line when logged in as 'nagios' user? It may be a user permissions issue.

Subject: [Nagios-users] Error with check_dhcp

I have successfully compiled check_dhcp and try in cmd line. I've got an answer from the plugin. But since i try to use in through Nagios i have this error msg in Nagios Web interface :

Error: Could not bind to DHCP socket (port 68)! Check your privileges...

I don't understand why this plugin works in cmd line and doesn't through Nagios core program... Any idea ?

Thanks,
Steve
