Yes, in the documentation, under advanced stuff, in the time-saving
section...

define service{
hostgroup_name HOSTGROUP1,HOSTGROUP2,...,HOSTGROUPN
service_description SOMESERVICE
other service directives ...
}

so, it seems that once you have the service set up to run on all hosts in a
particular group, all you have to do from that point it add the hosts to the
respective group.

Please correct me if I am wrong.  Thanks.
