no access although authorized

Hi,
I've configured access via HTTP authorization and all authorized_... 
properties are set to *
However I don't seem to be allowed to send commands via the command CGI.
I've noticed that the form and Commit/Reset says at the top: Logged in 
as admin.
The next screen (the one with the error message) just says: Logged in as ?
Why did it forget who is logged in?
Any idea? Thanks,
