First, make sure you changed the configuration of the computer that runs nagios reflect your network.
Secondo, You'll have to configure the dependencies in order to tell nagios that everything on the other side of the gateway is now unavaileble.

Hi,

I've istalled Nagios days ago and everything worked fine without problems.

Right now, I changed the gateway ip address of the Nagios server and it works fine, BUT when i shut down my gateway, Nagios goes crazy: it stops monitoring and it says that nagios service appears not running.
What should I do in order to notify that the router is down WITHOUT it shuts down my nagios service?

Tell me whether should I include configuration file in this post.
