Chris,

Thank you for your reply. I have used the extra oids for testing on some 
servers and the basic set do allow some extra functionality. However I am 
trying to avoid having to load extra software on servers to reduce the 
'burden of network management'.

I guess I am looking for a complete alternative to Nsclient - which should 
do all we want, or a fix to it to make it work properly and reliably.
