Sorry, I had another extremely embarrasing typo in my config file. I was
checking a nonexistant partition.

I note that your remote invocation of check_disk has not critical
threshold, which I thing will return state unknown. That could be your
entire problem.

Did you try running the check_by_ssh ivcantaion on the command line?

Did you try riunning the check_disk incantation locally?

If the first item does not pan out, those are the steps I would take to
debug.
