Hi,

thanx for the info.

Anyone knows anything about why the 'process_perf_data' directive doesn't
prevent the performance processing command to be executed? I only want to
get performance data from a part of the service checks. I know I can filter
them before processing, but what is the 'process_perf_data' directive there
for then? Or is it intended for later use and is defunc at the moment?

TIA,
  Joerg

As the gudelines for plugins-development states, only onle line of output is
read from the plugin. I think in your case it is a feature, not a bug.

Subject:	[Nagios-users] question to processing performance data
Hi all,

the directive 'process_perf_data' for the host and service definition does't
have any effect on performance processing. Even the $PERFDATA$ macro gets
set properly. Is this intended?

Also, nagios doesn't set the $PERFDATA$ macro when there's a '\n' before the
pipe char in the plugin output. Feature or bug?

Thanx in advance,
  Joerg
