Notifications not working...

I have a little problem with Nagios (1.0b5): notifications are not sent 
out. I checked everything I know about (which should have worked...  I'm 
  used to Netsaint), but I couldn<t help it, they are not sent out. This 
is not very useful.  The Nagios daemon is running on the same machine as 
the Netsaint daemon (which is sending notifications), so the mail thing 
is working on this da*n machine.

Could you help ?
