Change default homepage?

On second thought, I won't be getting out of the office in this weather.. bad storm here in Tampa, FL..

Anyway, to answer your second question:

In the source, you will need to comment out two lines in cgi/status.c to accomplish this:

Comment out (use /* at beginning of line, */ at end of line):

at line 295:  show_host_status_totals();
at line 302:  show_service_status_totals();

Recompile (make clean; make; make install), etc... This should work. You may need to comment out the <td> lines too if the table causes formatting problems. Hopefully this is enough to get you started on the right track.

To answer your first question...

Edit the file /usr/local/nagios/share/index.html:

change <FRAME SRC="main.html" NAME="main">

to

<FRAME SRC="/nagios/cgi-bin/status.cgi?hostgroup=all&style=summary" NAME="main">

As for your second question, I'm too lazy to answer that one ;)

Is there a way to change the initial login page?  Currently when I login it
takes me to the title page where credits and release notes are listed.  I
would like it to take me to the status summary page.  
 
Also is there a way to get rid of the "host status totals" and "service
status totals" at the top of the page?
