Service Dependency Question

I'm trying to set up a specific type of service dependency and was
wondering if there was an easy way of doing it that I'm missing.

I have one nagios instances that does lots of check_by_ssh checks to
other hosts in the environment. However, when ssh on a box slows down
to much, I get notified about lots of services being down, even though
its only ssh. So, I'm adding a service definition for every host to do
a check_ssh call to make sure that ssh is up and doesn't timeout.

Now I have about 15 hosts on the nagios instance, each with anywhere
from 5 to 15 different checks that use check_by_ssh. So I need to set
up a service dependency where every check_by_ssh service for a host is
dependent on the check_ssh service for that host.

Is there any other way of doing it besides setting up 5 to 15
dependencies for each host that uses check_by_ssh? I know there are
some dependency shortcuts, like being able to give multiple host names.
But when you give multiple host names, doesn't that mean the service is
now dependent on multiple hosts? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
