Using Sendmail with MS Exchange

You still need to get the mail *off* your *nix host.  That will require an
MTA.  By definition, any software designed to move mail from one server to
another is a Mail Transfer Agent.  If your *nix MTA is misconfigured, don't
expect mail to necessarily start flowing the way you hope.  If you're
conversant in perl, you could write a basic script to redirect your mail
output directly to your Exchange server.  Your perl script then becomes the
MTA.

Caveat (if you write your own script to pass directly through to another
server):  If you don't write the necessary exception handlers, you could end
up dropping messages on the floor.  So, you can reinvent the wheel, or
install/configure a proper MTA.  ;)
