Hide acknowledged problems

I've run into a similar scenario in the past.  I ended up removing the host
in question from my configuration for the time being.
 
Wish list:  A way of flagging a host to be included in the inventory, but
excluded from the site-wide uptime metrics, perhaps have a special category
for it.  Use grey for the colour, maybe.

Hi, I have a switch that has died, and been acknowledged, but it won't be
replaced for some time. Is there a way to clear the alert on the TAC page,
and not have the object checked again? I've disabled all checks
hosts/services, but the object still appears in the Tac.cgi.....
