check_hpjd

Hello,
 
I am using the check_hpjd to check various HP printers.  I have a problem specifically with the HP 4050 TN printer.  It seems to take forever to switch the message that it reports to check_hpjd (it will report "Checking Printer" or "Processing Job from Tray 2") for a long while.  I only have this problem with that specific model of printer and believe it to be related to that model alone.  Has anyone else seen this?
