The n00b again :)

Well I am trying to start nagios, and the app never finish to load it:

[root@***** bin]# ./nagios /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg

I want in nagios.log and got this:

[1041051657] HOST ALERT: linux2;DOWN;SOFT;2;CRITICAL - Plugin timed out
after 10 seconds

So... Could anyone help me???
