where do you expect logging of the performance data?
In PNP "default mode", nagios executes the performance data script after
each check. This will result in executing process_perfdata.pl which will
create the rrd and xml files needed for the pnp frontend.

I would suggest to follow these guides:
http://www.pnp4nagios.org/pnp/verify
and post further problems on the pnp4nagios-users list.

I don't think this might be a nagios problem, so the "product" list
might be better.

Tell the pnp4nagios-users what is unclear on that and the devels will
fix the docs after helping you out ;)
