NDOUtils and the status retention file...

Hello All,

Is there a document that outlines what nagios expects from the retention file? I am trying to build a script that creates a retention file from the ndoutils database.

I have a prototype that looks okay, but nagios does not read it properly. When nagios tries to start with my home-grown retention file, nagios' bar graphs on the side show services with a nice healthy green, but the hosts show a sliver of a red bar.

Does nagios expect the options between the {}'s in a particular order?

Janet

Hi Janet,

just have a look to "PREFIX_configfilevariables order by varname" for
the instance id.

There are your missing fields (and the rest of nagios.cfg).
