Nagios from traces.

If I understood you correctly, I think the best solution for you is to
write the contents of the file with monitored data to nagios.cmd pipe.
Once you have parsed the file you can figure out how to properly write
the service check result to be processed by nagios via command pipe.

You won't even bother this. You should look for external commands
documentation: (if you're using nagios 2.x)
