distributive monitoring system utilizing passive check

Hi,

The best way for a distributive monitoring system would be that the service
registers its Nagios configuration to the node agent. The node agent
registers itself to the monitoring server. The node agent would do the
actual checks and forward results to the monitoring server.

Any comment/implementation?
