I beg to differ:

http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=2188237&forum_id=8499

The archives for plugin development do show the orignal post there.

You do not need to be subscribed to post.

I assume that any small mistakes on your part were not intentional.
Plase grant me the same kindness. As I said before, I was merely trying
to bring calrity, since the person asking for a patch cannot commit it
to the Nagios tree, I do think it possible that I was not the olny
person misled by the subject line. If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong, but it
is not the result of any desire to create confusion or strife.

As for inclusion in a Nagios update. please see the various threads
describing the current thinking on DBMS backends. I am not much
concerned with them, so I cannot really summarize, but my imprssion is
that the model of support is undergoing major reworking, and thus the
importance of the fix may be less in Ethan's mind.

That said, a patch does make updates more likely, and if you provide
such a patch, it may at least be possible for me to add it to the RPM
spec and post the result on SF.
